R. Ryan Johansen, DDS

Dr. Johansen is a board-certified pediatric dentist. He graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California, in 2001. Following dental school, he completed a two-year pediatric dental residency at Primary Children’s Medical Center.

He has been in private practice since 2003 and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. A Utah native, Dr Johansen enjoys doing a wide variety of outdoor activities with his family. Dr. Johansen is married with five children–three sons and two daughters.

Dr. Ryan Burt

In 2012, Dr. Ryan Burt graduated Creighton University and before that, completed his undergraduate studies at BYU with degrees in biology and Japanese. To maintain his advanced education and training, he regularly attends continuing education meetings. He even became board-certified in pediatric dentistry, in which he was trained for two years at the University of Nebraska. Dr. Burt is also a member of the ADA, AAPD and ALD.

Dr. Burt’s goal is to provide quality care for children and allows them to leave knowing they have a caring dentist as well as ensuring parents that their children are getting the best care he can provide. Dr. Burt is married with five kids of his own, too! Outside of the office, he loves camping, hiking, sports and going to sporting events with family.

Dr. Travis Hickok

Dr. Travis Hickok earned his Bachelors of Science degree in medical biology from the University of Utah prior to attending Marquette University for dental school, where he graduating with his dental degree in 2008. He completed his General Practice Residency at the University of Utah, and regularly pursues continuing education and training. He has practiced in the Salt Lake City area for 10 years. As a dentist, Dr. Hickok’s goal is provide each patient he meets with the best experience possible and results that lead to a healthy mouth.

Dr. Hickok and his wife, Rebecca, enjoy traveling the world, being outdoors and spending time with family.

Dr. Treagan White

Since 2013, Dr. White has been practicing dentistry in Utah. After completing undergraduate studies in Business Administration and Chemistry at the Jon Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University, Dr. White attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He graduated in 2011 and completed his pediatric residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Continuing his education yearly, Dr. White is a member of the ADA and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a board-certified pediatric dentist, with a class III anesthesia permit, and contributes as a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Jared Wolthuis

Dr. Wolthuis has been with our practice since we opened in 2009. He graduated from the Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2007 following undergraduate studies at Weber State University. He is proud to be a third-generation dentist, following in the footsteps of his dad and granddad. He also practices in Ogden with his father. As a dentist, Dr. Wolthuis’ primary goals include helping patients understand the causes of dental decay and encouraging healthy eating habits so that they can become cavity-free for life.

Dr. Wolthuis is married and has six sons. Away from the office, you can find him with his family and on damage control for his six-boy demolition crew.

Marilyn P., Office Manager

Marilyn has worked at both Jordan Landing and at our sister location in Rose Park. Every day she loves working at Rose Park Pediatric Dentistry, from routinely filing dental insurance claims, to keeping our office fully equipped. Through her example, she motivates our staff to go above and beyond for our patients. Happily married, with two daughters and a son at home, she spends her free time swimming, watching family movies, pursuing art, going to Disneyland and attending summer night bonfires.

Ana G., Front Office Receptionist

Ana has only been with Rose Park Pediatric Dentistry a short while, but in that time, she has helped our young patients have a great experience visiting the dentist. She loves working in a place that reminds her of her childhood and enjoys helping families feel comfortable and part of the community. Ana is fluent in Spanish and is married with two amazing kids. On her free time, she hangs out with her family, goes outdoors to hike and samples new, local restaurants!

Jilliana D., Front Office Receptionist

Jilliana has been with Rose Park Pediatric Dentistry for two years, working and staff and providers to make the dental process smooth and fast, from scheduling their appointment, to treatment, to explaining dental benefits. She loves how our office cares about every patient who comes in and even her own kids receive care at Rose Park Pediatric Dentistry! On her own, Jilliana loves to read and bake, is happily married and spends her time with her family: two boys and a girl.

Jazmin A., Head Assistant

For three years, Jazmin has been running the Rose Park Pediatric Dentistry office, making sure we are always fully stocked and giving patients the best care available for them. After graduating from high school and attending college for a year, she obtained her dental assisting certificate in 2015. She loves working with our great team and providers. Out of the office, she loves to travel and create memoires with her family and three kids.

Josselin P., Dental Assistant

Josselin joined Rose Park Pediatric Dentistry in 2015. She graduated from Hillcrest High in 2012, and received her dental assisting certificate from the Academy of Dental Careers in 2014. She enjoys educating patients about oral hygiene, and loves knowing that she can make a difference in someone’s dental experience by being part of such an awesome team. Josselin is the oldest of five and is happy with her significant other. They enjoy hiking, traveling, watching movies and eating out.

Victoria C., Dental Assistant

Victoria has been with us since 2015. She went to Fortis College and completed externships with an oral surgeon at the University of Utah, as well as with our office. She loves working with kids and helping patients and parents learn the importance of keeping good oral hygiene. Victoria is a mother of two little boys and has been happily married for two years. She enjoys hiking, visiting lakes and camping.

Yariksi D., Dental Assistant

Yariksi graduated from Taylorsville High School in 2011, and attended the Salt Lake Academy of Dental Assistants until her graduation in 2017. For the past year, Yariksi has been helping educate our patients and their parents, making sure their experience with Rose Park Pediatric Dentistry is the best. She works hard alongside our team to see every child leave our office with a smile on their face. She has two beautiful children, one son and a daughter. While not in the office, Yariksi loves to hike, sing and push herself to try new things and create new adventures.
